Scorpio forecast for Tuesday March 31, 2020
In any dispute, we eventually come to a crossroads. We can either decide to de-escalate the situation, and search for shared values and common perspectives; or we can push on, exacerbating the divide and entrenching our position. As it's always better to build (rather than burn) our bridges, it's difficult to see why people choose the latter path. Except, of course, when it comes down to matters of principle. Take another look at what's at stake today. Is it as much as you thought?

The term 'Time Machine' was first coined in 1895 - not by a physicist, an astronomer or even a scientist, but by a novelist. It took the imaginative freedom of fiction to dream such a device into being. Not that it's just literary types who'd like one. The ability to fast-forward or rewind our own lives would be extraordinary. Taken on too much? Just go back and refuse. Chosen the wrong path? No problem, just nip back and take the other. You can't do that today. But you can press pause on a problem.

Your Weekly Love Focus Horoscope: Are you one of those people who likes taking things to pieces to see how they work? I once tried to take a toy robot apart and was completely flummoxed when trying to put it back together! As any Lego fan knows, the same constituent parts can be made into a myriad of different things. You'd like to build a new future, and you can see some of the pieces coming together. But don't be thrown if they create something quite different from what you were expecting. Despite your concerns, you're on the right track.

Your April Monthly Horoscope: Suppose you fell in love with a character in a film and then rejected other relationships because they failed to live up to your ideal? Although we all want the best, when we rebuff possibilities because they're not as 'perfect' as our fantasies, we're never going to find contentment. It's surprising how easily we lose track of the fact that we're chasing rainbows. Even if you realise that you're dreaming an impossible dream, something inspiring is on its way into your world this month.

We're all cute and tiny when we arrive here. As far as we know, we have no expectations about our lives; and no thoughts about what we 'should' be doing. As long as we don't cry too much, no one seems to mind what we do with our days... we just eat, sleep and hang out. As we grow bigger and older, things become more complicated. Nowadays, we all have lists as long as our arms of what we 'should' be doing. The good news, is that there's a lot on your list that you can ignore this weekend.

Some people are naturally decisive. They're able to take stock of situations quickly and go with what feels right in the moment. Although there's something attractive about such certainty, it does come with its drawbacks. Those folk don't experience that moment of utter calm when, having agonised for hours, you come to a decision; or the quiet confidence of having carefully and successfully walked a tightrope. Make a snap decision by all means. But taking your time will reveal a valuable clue.

What kind of milk do you take with your tea? Plant based or not? And how would you feel if you were served an unsatisfactory cuppa? It seems like a small thing to be concerned about in these difficult times, yet simple things hold importance. One of the reasons that we're so particular about what we drink is that we can be fussy about it. Often, other choices are beyond our control and we have to make the most of what we haven't got. Today, you can have something just the way you like it.
